Kristen Hemmersmeier, DO, is a family medicine physician who offers general women’s and pediatric preventative care. She also provides treatment for mood disorders like anxiety and depression, weight management and diabetes.
Dr. Hemmersmeier saw firsthand the impact her dad had on his community as a family medicine provider, which inspired her to go to medical school and serve her community by caring for people. Her care style focuses on the patient and their needs, and Dr. Hemmersmeier works with each patient throughout their lives to build a relationship that goes beyond a clinic visit.
Dr. Hemmersmeier and her husband, Sanny, have a son named Oliver. She enjoys spending time with them at home or outside on Columbia’s trails and eating at fun restaurants.
