About
Lauren Pringle, MD, is a board-certified radiologist who has additional fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging. She interprets diagnostic imaging studies of the musculoskeletal system encompassing a wide variety of imaging modalities (CT, MRI, ultrasound, and x-ray imaging) and performs interventional procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. She performs joint injections and aspirations, tendon sheath and bursal injections, cyst aspirations, peripheral nerve blocks, trigger point injections, and soft tissue biopsies.
Dr. Pringle is actively involved in teaching and mentoring students in her field and works closely with medical students, radiology residents, and musculoskeletal radiology fellows. She also teaches rotating students and physicians/other providers of other specialties in the reading room and in formal lecture settings.
Dr. Pringle is passionate about helping others and alleviating suffering. She is grateful for the opportunity to work with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine doctors, and many other providers to diagnose various traumatic, degenerative, infectious/inflammatory, and tumor-related conditions that affect bones, joints, muscles, tendons, nerves, and the spine. She evaluates and treats patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult patients. Her goal is to provide compassionate care and help restore patients’ ability to be active and do the activities they love to do while minimizing pain.
Dr. Pringle’s hobbies include spending time with family, cycling, hiking, traveling, enjoying good food, and gardening. She lives in Columbia with her husband and 4 young children.
