About

Aniqa Rahman, MD, is a board-certified family medicine doctor who specializes in preventative medicine and women’s health. She helps support male and female patients who have general health questions and concerns, as well as mental health and weight management issues, using lifestyle medicine and integrative medicine approaches.

Dr. Rahman is fascinated by the human body and finds joy in the study and practice of medicine. She is the first person with medical training in her family, and one of her strengths is using that background, paired with her education, to speak with and inform patients about their condition. Dr. Rahman’s goal is to help each patient understand their health so they can make educated decisions that are aligned with their values and priorities.

Dr. Rahman and her partner are natives of Columbia and enjoy living in Jefferson City where they can be close to family. Her hobbies include singing, cooking, foraging and fermentation, travel, gardening and painting.
