Christa Torrisi is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than a decade of experience who sees patients of all ages. She offers preventative care and education on health topics and disease prevention, as well as breast cancer prevention.

Christa chose to become an advanced practice provider to help others. She enjoys educating people about health topics and concerns, and believes that people can better-informed decisions about their health through shared decision-making.

Christa and her husband have been close since their early teens, when they met at a camp for people with Type 1 diabetes. You can always find at least one English bulldog and a flock of chickens around their house, which provide endless entertainment. Christa’s hobbies include cooking, reading and finding ways to perfect her next cup of coffee — including roasting her own beans — and spending time at the Columbia Farmers Market.
