Pediatric Imaging Services Are Moving

We're reimagining the way we deliver care and building a brand-new, state-of-the-art Children's Hospital. As part of our efforts to improve and integrate our clinical services to one location, certain imaging services for children will be done only at Children's Hospital on the main campus at One Hospital Drive beginning Monday, March 28.

These imaging services provided by specially trained pediatric radiologists include CT scans, MRIs, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy and interventional radiology. Walk-in pediatric patients needing only a simple X-ray, such as a chest or foot X-ray, can still receive those services at any of our imaging locations.

Parking and check-in information

Patients can park in the Patient and Visitor Garage connected to the east side of University Hospital and can access our dedicated children’s entrance by taking elevators to the second floor.

From the second floor elevators, please proceed to the greeter through the double doors labeled Children's Hospital Check-In. The greeter will direct you to Children's Hospital Registration, where patients will check-in and register for their procedure. Patients will then be directed to the Children's Procedure Suite, where they should provide their name and what procedure they are receiving. Patients then can stay in the Children's Hospital GI waiting room until a representative from the Imaging Department comes to take them to the specific area for their imaging procedure.
