Assessment of Dissolved Phase 129Xe as a Biomarker for gas-exchange and vascular function in asthma

The purpose of the study is to assess how well the results of hyperpolarized xenon magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) align with asthma severity and effectiveness of treatments. This study will also examine if/how hyperpolarized xenon MRI can be used to evaluate problems with blood flow in people with asthma.
