Abhinav Golla, MD, MPH is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist who treats glaucoma and cataracts in all stages and forms. He has an emphasis on combined cataract and glaucoma surgeries such as trabeculectomies, tube shunts, Xen stent, GATT, ECP, the latest in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and laser therapies. Dr. Golla performs the latest cataract surgery techniques, including advanced technology multifocal intraocular lenses for presbyopia and astigmatism correction.

Dr. Golla is passionate about improving glaucoma treatments, both medically and surgically, and is interested in using new technologies to detect the disease earlier. During patient visits, his approach is to listen what they are experiencing on a day-to-day basis, what fears and concerns they may have about their eyes, and to deliver customized care that is tailored precisely for each individual's needs and comfort.

A former Boy Scout, Dr. Golla enjoys spending time outside hiking and camping, music and cooking with his wife.

Research Profile

Abhinav Golla, MD, MPH is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist with special emphasis on combined cataract and glaucoma surgeries. He performs the latest cataract surgery techniques including advanced technology multifocal intraocular lenses for presbyopia and astigmatism correction.

Dr. Golla has researched developing a new method of detecting eye pressure and outflow abnormalities. He has also developed computer software and image simulation programs to determine the effects of alterations in the intraocular lens after cataract surgery on a person's vision.
