About
Mung Chin is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP-C) and advanced oncology certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) who specializes in the care of adults diagnosed with cancer. Mung is also a genetic cancer risk assessment (GCRA) provider and can assist patients with genetic testing. She provides comprehensive and patient centered care across the cancer continuum; from screening to diagnosis, treatment, survivorship and end of life care. Mung enjoys providing education to the patients and their family. Mung’s practice includes hematology and medical oncology, as well as cancer research and hereditary cancer risk assessment.
Mung chose a career as an advanced nurse practitioner in oncology because she believes strongly in patient care and finds joy in making a difference during their journey in cancer care. Her practice is centered on each patient’s individual needs, and Mung's goal is to treat each patient the way she would want her own parents to be treated.
Outside of work, Mung enjoys traveling and exploring different cuisines and cultures. Spending quality time with her family is very important to Mung, and she also loves spending time with her fur babies.
