MU Health Care is closing its COVID-19 drive-thru testing site because of reduced demand for testing.

Testing volumes at the drive-thru site at Mizzou North have decreased from more than 3,000 per week in August to less than 700 the first week of March. As a result, the drive-thru site’s last day of operation will be Friday, March 12.

Those in need of COVID-19 testing after March 12 have the following options:

  • If a patient of MU Health Care, call your primary care provider’s office.
  • If not a patient of MU Health Care, visit Mizzou Quick Care or Mizzou Urgent Care, or call/see your primary care provider.

Anyone with a physician’s order for a COVID-19 test — whether from an MU Health Care provider or an outside provider — may be tested at any of our lab locations. A full list is available at muhealth.org/labs.

People with questions about how to access COVID-19 testing may contact our call center at 573-884-0948.

Patients suffering severe symptoms or breathing problems should go to the emergency department or call 911.

University of Missouri students should call the Student Health Center at 573-882-7481 to get an order for testing. Once a student has an order, he or she can go to Parking Structure 7 for testing. Learn more at studenthealth.missouri.edu.
