About

Justin Hire, MD, FAAOS, is a fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon. He has special interest in diagnosing and treating children’s sports injuries, including ACL tears, meniscus tears, patella (kneecap) instability/dislocations, shoulder instability/dislocations, hip labral tears, adolescent hip dysplasia, ankle instability and osteochondritis dissecans (OCDs) of the elbow, knee and ankle.

Dr. Hire also cares for a wide variety of other children’s orthopedics conditions, including clubfoot, developmental hip dysplasia, Perthes disease, Blount’s disease, lower extremity deformities, leg length discrepancy and broken bones with specialized knowledge of the growing skeleton. He performs minimally invasive arthroscopic surgeries as well as open procedures.

In his free time, Dr. Hire enjoys bicycling the many trails in central Missouri and spending time with his wife and three children.
