About
Krithika Ramaprabhu, MD, is a cardiothoracic surgeon with additional fellowship training in heart surgery and advanced robotic heart surgery. She treats patients who have a range of complex heart and heart valve disorders by offering minimally invasive procedures, including robot-assisted heart surgery and transcatheter valve replacements.
Dr. Ramaprabhu became a doctor because she has always been interested in, and gratified by, the ability of surgeons to bring relief to patients. Her main approach to care is to treat each person as if they were a member of her own family. This includes being empathetic and detail-oriented while working together with each patient to achieve their treatment goals.
Although Dr. Ramaprabhu is classically trained as a dancer and violinist, her main hobbies include hiking, playing tennis and watching movies and TV shows. She has an amazing cat named Abhees, or Little Snacks.
