Earlier opening on weekdays, new weekend hours coming

MU Health Care’s Quick Care location in Jefferson City will expand its availability beginning June 2, 2025 to offer patients more convenience to seek care for minor health issues.

The Quick Care in Jefferson City is located inside the Hy-Vee at 3721 Truman Blvd. The new hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends. That location previously did not have weekend hours and opened each weekday at 10:30 a.m.

“The expanded availability will offer more convenience and allow us to better serve the community by offering care when it is needed,” said Michelle Barg, MD, associate chief medical officer.  “This is just the latest example of how MU Health Care continues to grow and expand services in the Jefferson City region to offer better accessibility to health care.”

Quick Care provides same-day, sick care appointments for minor health issues for those ages 2 and above. Services are billed the same as what you would expect with a primary care visit and all locations are linked to the same MU Health Care electronic health record, ensuring our care providers can conveniently access medical history, medications and allergies while also updating other members of your care team.
