Clinic will feature unique partnership with MU Sinclair School of Nursing

MU Health Care will open a new primary care clinic in Holts Summit on May 5, 2026, that will improve access to health care for patients who live in the region, while helping to educate the next generation of health care providers.

The new clinic at 180 Northstar Dr. In Holts Summit will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays offering convenient access to traditional appointments, telehealth services as well as same-day sick care for patients age two and older. The clinic will be connected to MU Health Care’s electronic health record network to ensure completely coordinated care.

“This new primary care clinic in Holts Summit keeps care close to home for families who live nearby ensuring they receive the preventative services and routine care they need to stay healthy,” said Stephanie Cordray, MU Health Care chief ambulatory officer. “Expanding access in rural communities like Holts Summit is a key part of MU Health Care’s mission and commitment to Missouri.”

The clinic is the result of a partnership between MU Health Care and the MU Sinclair School of Nursing, where advanced practice providers working with students will collaborate with emergency medicine physicians to ensure patients receive the expert care they need.

"We are excited to partner with MU Health Care to provide this unique training opportunity to our students,” said Lori Popejoy, dean of the Sinclair School of Nursing. “This clinic will not only expand access to high-quality care in Holts Summit but also helps prepare the next generation of nurse practitioners to serve communities across Missouri.”
