Second Columbia urgent care at Keene Street Medical Center coming soon

MU Health Care will open Express Care in Columbia and Jefferson City on Aug. 1, and a new urgent care location at Keene Street Medical Center is coming soon.

Express Care will be available at the Family Medicine Clinic locations at Battle Avenue Medical Building in Columbia located at 7115 E St. Charles Rd. and at the Family Medicine Clinic in Jefferson City located at 1014 Madison Street. Both clinics will offer daily walk-in services and extended evening/weekend clinic hours. You do not need to be an existing MU Health Care patient to be seen at Express Care.  

“Our new Express Care is designed to give patients the flexibility they need by offering extended hours, no-appointment access and seamless connections to primary and specialty care,” said MU Health Care CEO Ric Ransom. “By integrating these services within our clinics, we’re enhancing the patient experience, improving continuity of care and ensuring we are delivering the right care in the right setting.”  

The express clinics will be available from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on weekends and most holidays.

In addition to these new services, patients will continue to have access to MU Health Care’s other convenient care options including urgent care, with a new location opening at Keene Street Medical Center, and On-Demand Telehealth.
