WHAT: People with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers are invited to attend the Mid-Missouri Parkinson’s Disease Patient and Caregiver Conference. Sponsored by University of Missouri Health Care’s Movement Disorders Program, the seminar will address the latest developments in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
The conference is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
WHO: The conference will be moderated by Pradeep Bollu, M.D., assistant professor of neurology at the MU School of Medicine, associate program director of the neurology residency program and neurologist at MU Health Care.
Speakers and discussion topics at the event will include:
- Raghav Govindarajan, M.D., assistant professor of neurology at the MU School of Medicine and director of MU Health Care’s Movement Disorders Program: “Parkinson’s Disease 101”
- David Beversdorf, M.D., professor of neurology at the MU School of Medicine and neurologist at MU Health Care: “Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia”
