Mizzou Urgent Care in Mexico will open in same location next month

MU Health Care’s Family Medicine Clinic in Mexico will open on Monday, July 18, with Mizzou Urgent Care in Mexico to follow later this summer.

MU Health Care’s Family Medicine Clinic in Mexico will be located at 3626 S Clark St. featuring community family medicine providers Diane Jacobi, MD, and nurse practitioner Regina Hill. Jacobi and Hill have been seeing patients at the Battle Avenue Medical Building in Columbia but will shift full time to the South Clark Medical Building on July 18.

“I am looking forward to moving my practice back to Audrain County next week, where I’ve raised my family and become part of this wonderful community,” Jacobi said. “And best of all, many of the familiar faces my patients know from my previous clinic have joined me at MU Health Care.”

Not only will MU Health Care’s Family Medicine Clinic in Mexico offer care for the entire family, Jacobi and Hill will also be able to connect patients with more than 600 MU Health Care doctors in more than 80 specialties working together to ensure patients get the best care possible.

“The expansion of MU Health Care in Audrain County aligns with our commitment to expand access to health care access in Missouri’s rural communities including Boonville, Fayette and Fulton, where we already have established clinics,” said Michael LeFevre, MD, chair of the MU School of Medicine’s Department of Family and Community Medicine and a physician at MU Health Care.

Patients wishing to schedule an appointment with Jacobi or Hill at MU Health Care’s Family Medicine Clinic in Mexico should call (573) 882-7000 Once the clinic opens Monday, its phone number will be (573) 581-1445.
