The University of Missouri School of Medicine and MU Health Care have launched a clinical trials resource to provide prospective participants and providers with easy access to information on all clinical trials currently enrolling participants.

This resource empowers individuals to become partners in discovery by connecting them to innovative treatments and technologies that can transform health care.

"Clinical trials are the engine of medical progress," said Richard J. Barohn, executive vice chancellor for health affairs and the Hugh E. and Sarah D. Stephenson dean of the School of Medicine. "Each research participant is a key partner in the pursuit of medical discovery, and each helps pave the way for life-saving treatments and advancements in health care.”

The resource bridges the gap between researchers and participants, offering a user-friendly interface that simplifies the search for clinical trials. Users can filter trials by location, condition and other key criteria, ensuring they find the opportunities most relevant to their health needs.

“By making clinical trial information more accessible and transparent, we are removing barriers to participation and strengthening our ability to deliver innovative, patient-centered research,” said Bettina Mittendorfer, senior associate dean for research at the School of Medicine. “This resource connects our community directly to studies that can improve care today and advance medicine for the future.”

Key features of the resource:

  • Comprehensive listings: Access detailed information on a wide range of clinical trials currently enrolling participants.
  • User-friendly interface: Easily navigate and search for trials based on location, condition and other preferences.
  • Real-time updates: Stay informed with the latest updates and new trial listings.

Healthy volunteers, patients and health care providers alike are encouraged to explore the clinical trials resource and discover the opportunities available. For more information, visit muhealth.org/clinical-trials.
