Media Advisory: Cancer Survivor Celebration 2019 to Feature Interactive Paint Project

WHAT: University of Missouri Health Care’s Ellis Fischel Cancer Center will host a public celebration in honor of cancer survivor month featuring a highly visual interactive paint project. Cancer survivors will be invited to hurl paint-filled balloons at a “paint out cancer” target that measures 225 square feet.  The free event will also feature live music, food, drinks and other activities. 

WHO: The event is open to the community to celebrate cancer survivors and survivorship.

WHEN: 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2019

WHERE: Wyatt Guest House, 1580 Jewell Ave, Columbia, Missouri
