COLUMBIA, Mo. ― A cancer survivorship dinner, funded by the Mid-Missouri Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® in partnership with Ellis Fischel Cancer Center and the MU Sinclair School of Nursing, will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at D. Rowe’s Restaurant at 1005 Club Village Drive in Columbia.
Janice Cormier, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.S., a surgical oncologist and researcher at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, will discuss the economic impact of cancer and how to enhance cancer survivorship outcomes.
The dinner is open to breast cancer survivors and anyone who has been affected by cancer, as well as health professionals and students.
