WHAT: As part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, hair stylists from Hair Therapy Salon in Columbia will offer pink hair extensions and removable clip-ins to Ellis Fischel Cancer Center employees, patients and visitors for a $10 donation. Funds raised from the event will benefit Ellis Fischel Cancer Center’s mammography fund, which provides breast cancer screenings to women who are uninsured and are not eligible for state or federal programs.
