COVID-19 testing to be conducted in clinics and labs, similar to flu or strep tests
MU Health Care is closing its COVID-19 test collection site because of reduced demand for testing.
Testing volumes at the site, located at 404 N. Keene St. have decreased 65% from late January to late February. As a result, the site’s last day of operation will be Sunday, Feb. 27.
Those who need to obtain a COVID-19 test after Feb. 27 have several alternatives. Costs vary depending on testing location. Options include:
- Contact your primary care provider’s office
- Visit a Mizzou Quick Care
- Visit Mizzou Urgent Care
Those suffering severe symptoms or breathing problems should go to the emergency department or call 911.
