About

Dr. Nuelle is a fellowship-trained sports medicine and joint preservation doctor who treats a variety of sports and athletic-related injuries and disorders of the shoulder, knee, ankle and elbow. He uses both arthroscopic and open techniques to restore damaged joints, ligaments and bones.

His areas of expertise include:

  • Arthroscopy of the shoulder, knee, ankle and elbow
  • Knee ligament reconstruction
  • Patellofemoral disorders and reconstruction (relating to the joint behind the kneecap)
  • Articular cartilage restoration and joint preservation
  • Meniscal repair and transplantation
  • Adolescent sports injuries
  • Shoulder instability and labral repair
  • Rotator cuff repair
  • Total and partial knee replacement

Dr. Nuelle has previously served as a team doctor for the San Antonio Missions baseball team in Texas and is currently the head team doctor for Mizzou football, soccer, tennis, swimming and diving.
