Location will be by appointment only and will serve as primary testing option

MU Health Care is opening a dedicated COVID-19 test collection site as the demand for testing continues to increase in the region.

The MU Health Care COVID-19 collection site located at 2003 W Broadway, Suite 100, in Columbia will open on Monday, Aug. 2. It will serve as MU Health Care’s primary COVID-19 test collection location and will offer a fast, convenient option for those with known exposure or mild symptoms, or those who just need a travel test.

Patients will need to schedule an appointment online at muhccovidtesting.timetap.com. Each person tested will need their own appointment and will wait in their car until their scheduled time. Appointment times will be available 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Patients must wear a mask and bring proof of insurance (if insured). There is no cost to the patient.

Results will be delivered within 48 hours of testing. If results are positive, you will receive a phone call from the testing location. If results are negative, you will be notified via message in the MU Health Care portal.
