Vaccination event at Faurot Field will feature the Johnson & Johnson vaccine

MU Health Care will offer the COVID-19 Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine to all Missourians age 18 and older at a vaccination event next week.

The event will take place at Faurot Field on Wednesday, June 2 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Patients younger than 18 are not eligible to receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

“We are pleased to offer this single-dose vaccination option to all adults,” said MU Health Care vaccine co-chair and family medicine physician Laura Morris, MD. “The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is a safe and convenient way for you to protect yourself against the virus while also helping the community get one step closer to herd immunity.”

Adults interested in receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine can visit muhealth.org/covid19-vaccine-scheduling to schedule an appointment.

The website includes a link to our scheduling system, called TimeTap. Those who need help scheduling an appointment can call our COVID-19 vaccine call center at 573-771-CARE (2273). The call center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

MU Health Care’s vaccination site is at the Walsworth Family Columns Club at MU's football stadium and offers the vaccine by appointment only.
