To make your parking experience as quick and seamless as possible, please use the following information to help guide your visit.
Thanks to recently completed improvements to our parking facilities and around the hospital campus, patients can expect a more efficient parking experience. A new roundabout at the intersection of Hospital Drive and Tiger Avenue will make arrivals and departures easier, and new digital signage in the Patient Visitor Garage (PVG) and Parking Structure 7 (PS7) will display the number of available parking spots in each row.
Parking is free for all MU Health Care patients and visitors. Please do not park in Virginia Avenue Parking Structure, the east side of PS7, or in surface lots to the east of the hospital campus as you may be ticketed.
Emergency care
If you need emergency care, please park at the University Hospital emergency room entrance off Hospital Drive, or in Tiger Avenue Parking Structure (TAPS). Children should go to our Children’s ER, with reserved ER parking spaces available in TAPS. Missouri Psychiatric Center patients and visitors should park in the same garage.
Patient and Visitor Garage
For patients and visitors arriving at University Hospital, Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, Children’s Hospital or University Physicians Medical Building, we recommend parking in the PVG. The main garage entrance is located at the intersection of Monk and Hospital Drives.
Parking Structure 7
Patients and visitors arriving at the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute should use the west side of PS7 and park on one of the first three levels. A second story enclosed pedestrian bridge with wheelchair access connects PS7 to the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute.
Shuttle Services
A courtesy shuttle is available to take patients and visitors from PS7 to the main entrances of University Hospital, the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute and University Physicians Medical Building. The shuttles run Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with hours subject to change.
