WHEN TO SEEK INFERTILITY TREATMENT
We are happy to see patients at any stage of their journey.
However, as a rule of thumb, we define infertility as the inability to conceive after one year of frequent unprotected intercourse. For women older than 35 years of age, we encourage evaluation after six months of trying, and for women who are 40 years of age or older, we recommend expediting an infertility evaluation at your earliest convenience.
Our team is dedicated to helping you find the best treatment options for you and your family.
For most patients, the first appointment is dedicated to discussing preconception and pre-existing medical conditions. We will also typically conduct an infertility evaluation. Then, at a follow-up visit, we would review treatment options.
Once you become pregnant, we will schedule follow-up appointments for early pregnancy monitoring and sonography before transferring your care back to your primary care provider.
