What to Expect During Your First Visit
For your first visit, you’ll meet with a nurse practitioner for about one hour. We will assess any underlying conditions that could affect your body’s ability to heal wounds. Then our team of specialists will provide personalized care to help you heal based on:
- Your age and other medical conditions
- The location, area and depth of your wound
- Whether you have an infection
- Your lifestyle, goals and preferences
Unlike other centers, our team may be able to see you more quickly and frequently. For example, you may be able to see us every week or two weeks for treatment. With this approach, we can provide more consistent care and identify any issues at early stages.
