From the earliest years through adolescence, our pediatric experts help children stay healthy, catch concerns early and get the care they need as they grow.
Pediatric primary care providers — including pediatricians, family medicine physicians, nurses and physician assistants — see kids from birth though age 18. Whether you’re bringing in your baby for a checkup or have questions about your teen’s sleep habits, we can help. Our kid-focused primary care is backed by central Missouri’s largest group of pediatric experts.
Our Approach to Pediatric Primary Care
When it comes to medical care, children are not just little adults. Your child deserves kid-focused care that addresses their unique medical, emotional, developmental and social needs.
Our board-certified physicians and other providers are specially trained to care for kids and support your entire family. Here’s how:
- We partner with you to keep your child as healthy as possible. You play a valuable role in your child’s health, and we want to make it easy for you to reach us. You can message us directly through our secure website when you have questions, concerns or need refills.
- We meet you where you are. MU Health Care has three pediatric clinics across Columbia and one in Jefferson City. You can also see us at 18 different family medicine clinics throughout mid-Missouri.
- We’re there when you need us. As the region’s leader in pediatric primary care, we strive to provide you with the full range of convenient care options. Same-day sick clinics are available at all pediatric clinic locations for care when your regular doctor is not available. We also offer Express Care clinics for children age 2 years and older and urgent care for kids of all ages.
